DESCRIPTION:After a 3 year layoff due to COVID\, the Houston Pilots for Kids group is back visiting hospitalized children in our area. We had a successful visit to Memorial Childrens Hospital in Galveston December 23rd and it was a great success. \nMore good news is that we were also able to secure a hospital visit date of December 23rd at Memorial Children’s Hospital in Houston! We have many great new gifts to give out and expect another successful visit just before Christmas!\n\nWe are continuing our efforts to raise funds for gift purchases through the sale of our Pilots for Kids neckties. As you recall from last year\, we have 3 different holiday PFK ties which helped fund our holiday children’s gifts. The local IAH Chief Pilot'\;s Office has once again allowed ties sales and they now available for pickup. \nThese are United Airlines approved for uniform wear during the holiday months so spread the word and pick one (or three) up! To pay\, simply visit www.pilotsforkids.org and select donate. ***Important - Select Houston Coordinator Steve Curry so that the funds are properly routed to our account. ***\n\nHere are the 3 tie options. The first 2 ties options are available in Red or Green and have both the United ALPA MEC logo along with the Pilots for Kids logo. The 3rd tie option is red with the Pilots for Kids logo only. \n\nIf you wish to contribute directly to Pilots for Kids\, the website is: Please\nclick the DONATE button to the left side of this page. \n\nThe Houston Pilots for Kids group is happy to get back to the\nhospitals and bring some holiday cheer to the children!\n\nBest Regards\,\n\nSteve Curry\nPilots for Kids IAH Coordinator\n713-443-6599\n\nSee website for RSVP and Dress Code details.
